U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced today, in coordination with the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), that Whiteface Mountain, will host the Stifel 2027 Alpine Junior Worlds, March 2-12, 2027. The championships will bring the world’s top junior alpine racers to the Olympic Region, with Lake Placid and surrounding communities welcoming athletes, teams and visitors from around the world.

The event marks the return of the FIS Junior World Ski Championships to the United States for the first time in 33 years, since Lake Placid last hosted the event in 1994. It will bring the world’s top junior alpine racers to one of North America’s most storied Olympic venues.
