The Environmental, Planning & Construction Department at the Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority) is soliciting for all local and regional contractors interested in public works time and material basis contracts. This approach is designed to simplify and streamline the bidding for small project scopes across nine key trades: 

    • General Contracting 
    • Electrical (Low Voltage) 
    • Plumbing 
    • Roofing 
    • HVAC 
    • Fire Protection 
    • Sitework/Underground Utilities 
    • Asphalt Paving 
    • Door and Door Hardware 

The Olympic Authority has implemented a more user-friendly system that reduces paperwork, clarifies requirements, and shortens the timeline for contractor onboarding. This includes:  

    • Standardized contractor minimum qualifications used across all trades 
    • Clearer bid package instructions 
    • No pre-defined work scopes 
    • Work is delivered on a time and material basis 

While all contract opportunities will still be posted on the NYS Contract Reporter, this contract opportunity makes it easier for qualified contractors to engage, bid, and secure work with the Olympic Authority.
