The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority), in collaboration with the Skating Club of Lake Placid and sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating, will host the 68th Lake Placid Figure Skating Championships on June 19-21 at the Lake Placid Olympic Center. This competitive, non-qualifying event features singles and pairs competitions across all levels, from beginner to senior.

Event Highlights:

    • More than 200 skaters from the Northeast and Canada will compete.

    • Sydney Cooke & Matthew Kennedy – senior pairs – senior national competitors
    • Sophie Jolene von Felton – senior women – 2025 US Junior Champion
    • Skylar Latutowa-Peguero – junior women – 2025 US Junior Silver Medalist
    • Tamir Kuperman – senior men – Israeli Junior Champion, World Junior Competitor
    • Aleksandr Fegan – junior men – 2025 US Junior Silver Medalist
    • First Lake Placid Figure Skating Championships took place in 1957.
