The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority) joins the worldwide celebration of Olympic Day on Monday, June 23 by offering engaging programming and a full calendar of summer activities that inspire movement for all ages in Lake Placid, a two-time Olympic host city. An initiative launched by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 2023, Olympic Day is a global invitation to get active, connect and have fun. This year’s theme of “Let’s Move,” encourages participants to brings a friend and move together.
Olympic Day Activities:
Make Your Own Friendship Bracelet
Hosted by the Lake Placid Olympic Museum from noon to 4 p.m. in the Empire Room.

Celebration Moves Social Challenge
