WHAT:
The Swix Cup U.S. Ski and Snowboard SuperTour Finals, presented by the National Nordic Foundation, will take place at Mt Van Hoevenberg from March 26-30, 2025. Recognized by FIS as the Continental Cup for the United States, this event features the highest level of domestic Nordic ski racing, with athletes competing for World Cup spots and sponsorship opportunities.

WHO:
The U.S. team’s top cross-country skiers, including Jessie Diggins, Gus Schumacher, Julia Kern, Ben Ogden, and other elite competitors, are expected to participate (registrations subject to change). The event will feature members of the U.S. Ski Team and international racers. The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame will also be in Lake Placid for their induction ceremonies, with notable skiers expected among the SuperTour spectators.

HISTORY OF MT VAN HOEVENBERG NORDIC SKI CENTER:

Since hosting the 1980 Olympic Games, the cross-country trails at Mt Van Hoevenberg have continued to provide an exceptional experience for athletes and visitors alike. Ongoing enhancements, including snowmaking upgrades, trail improvements, and world-class grooming, have strengthened its reputation as a premier Nordic skiing and biathlon destination. The Nordic Ski Center is seamlessly connected to the Mt Van Hoevenberg bobsled, skeleton, and luge track through the Mountain Pass Lodge. This historic track, which hosted sliding sports events during the 1932 and 1980 Olympic Winter Games, remains one of the world’s premier venues and recently hosted the 2025 IBSF World Championships.
