Media Invited to Tannery Pond Center for a Community Information Session on the Regional Economy with Presentations from Warren County EDC, Gore Mountain, and former NYS Senator Betty Little
Media and residents of the North Creek region are invited to a community information session and panel discussion organized jointly by the Tannery Pond Center, Warren County Economic Development Council (EDC), and the Olympic Regional Development Authority with Gore Mountain.
What: The evening will include presentations and a panel discussion focusing on the economic vitality of the region including the North Creek Ski Bowl project.
Schedule: Moderated by Arthur Webb, the program to include:
7:00 pm – Opening remarks and agenda (Arthur Webb)
7:05 pm – Vision and Historical Perspective (Betty Little, former New York State Senator from 2002 to 2019 and Olympic Regional Development Authority Board member)
7:15 pm – Economic Vitality Overview (Jim Siplon, President of Warren County EDC), plus additional economic commentary by Chuck Barton, President, Warren & Washington County Industrial Development Agency
7:30 pm – North Creek Ski Bowl Expansion Project Presentation by Ashley Walden, President & CEO of the Olympic Regional Development Authority
7:45 pm – Gore Mountain contributions to area youth programming and regional employment by James “Bone” Bayse, Gore Mountain General Manager, plus answers to recent questions posed by area residents.
8:00 pm – Q&A session with Walden, Bayse, Siplon, and Barton responding to audience questions, moderated by Arthur Webb
8:20 pm – Reception and Social
