Nine Pin will be the Official Cider at all Olympic Authority Locations and Annual Events
Earlier this year, Nine Pin Ciderworks, US Biathlon, and the Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority) reached a partnership agreement to make Nine Pin the Official Cider of US Biathlon and Olympic Authority. Nine Pin Cider is now a proud partner of Gore Mountain, Belleayre Mountain, and Lake Placid Legacy Sites consisting of the Olympic Center, Olympic Jumping Complex, and Mt Van Hoevenberg, and Whiteface Mountain. Under this agreement, Nine Pin is also the official cider of several annual events hosted by these venues, including the Fall Festival: Brews & Views October 5 & 6 and 12 & 13 at Belleayre, and Harvest Fest at Gore Mountain October 12 and 13.
This partnership provides Nine Pin the opportunity to host four annual beverage sampling events at any of the Olympic Authority venues, details for which will be announced in the coming months.
“We are proud to be the Official Cider at all the Olympic Authority venues,” said Alejandro del Peral, Nine Pin’s co-owner and head cidermaker. “We are a statewide New York cider company with roots in the Capital Region, and Olympic Authority is a worldwide entity, operating 7 venues throughout the Capital Region and Northern New York. These partnerships elevate our respective brands and increase reach of our small business worldwide. We’re thankful to the Olympic Authority for its support of New York farms and opportunity to showcase New York apples. We look forward to serving our loyal and new patrons at these spectacular locations.”
“When US Biathlon presented this to us, we saw the passion and quality that Nine Pin brings to its craft. And, as we learned how Nine Pin defined a new way of working more closely with New York State orchards, we recognized the company’s impact on farms across New York. We are honored they chose to partner with our venues to increase its connection with the State. It’s a great example of a NY brand partnering and thriving with other NY entities.” said Tait Wardlaw, the Olympic Authority’s Vice President.
Cider connoisseurs can enjoy Nine Pin’s ciders seven days a week in their Albany Tasting Room located in the city’s Warehouse district, from retailers across New York, Massachusetts, and New Jersey, and at bars and restaurants who carry Nine Pin products. Residents in other states may purchase Nine Pin’s ciders through Nine Pin’s online store; New Yorkers may begin receiving shipments this November.
