WHAT: The inaugural Adirondack Winter Invitational brings four of the nation’s top Division I men’s hockey programs together for a two-day tournament to be played Dec. 29-30 in the historic rink of the Olympic Center’s 1980 Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid. The winners of Friday night’s games will face off for the championship trophy on Saturday.

RANKINGS/RECORDS: Three of the four teams in the tournament were ranked in the top 20 of the latest USCHO poll, with University of Massachusetts (11-4-1 overall) at No. 11, Arizona State (13-3-4) at No. 13, and Cornell (6-4-1) at No. 17. Clarkson brings an 8-5-1 overall record into the tournament in Lake Placid.
