At the top, riders can savor the views of the Catskill Forest Preserve, enjoy a picnic lunch, and walk along the summit. When ready, guests board the gondola for the return trip or hike back down.

The 18-hole course spans both the lower and upper parts of the mountain, providing visitors with stunning views and an enjoyable experience. The first nine holes take players through open areas around Discovery Lodge, while holes 10 to 18 lead them across the summit. Participants can opt to play either or both sets of holes, and can bring their own discs or purchase them at the retail shop. The lower course opens in early June, while the upper course opens with scenic gondola rides Friday, June 30.
Climbing Wall
Belleayre’s Climbing Wall offers an exciting challenge that will put visitors’ skills to the test. This 20-foot wall features three unique climbing routes suitable for people of all ages and abilities, including children and adults. With a hydraulic auto belay system, climbers descend safely and seamlessly to the ground. The Climbing Wall is located adjacent to the Catskill Thunder Gondola at the Discovery Lodge, and visitors can benefit from discounted rates by combining their climbing experience with a gondola ride.
