Record-breaking, first season ever that Gore Mountain is open into May  

New York State’s Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) announces additional spring skiing at Gore Mountain and Whiteface Mountain for this weekend, weather and conditions permitting.

Gore Mountain:

When: Open Friday – Sunday, April 29 – May 1*

What: Terrain for intermediate and expert abilities.

Tickets: Adult tickets are just $30 per day. Teens/Seniors/Juniors and ages 70+ are $20 per day. Six and under are $10 per day. Tickets are available online in advance, or guests may purchase them on arrival at the windows.

*Since Gore Mountain opened in 1964, this is the latest closing ever and the first season it is open into May.

 Whiteface Mountain:  

When: Open Saturday – Sunday, April 30 – May 1

What: Lifts-Gondola, Little Whiteface, and Summit. Terrain for intermediate and expert abilities.

Tickets: Adult tickets are just $30 per day. Teens/Seniors/Juniors and ages 70+ are $20 per day. Six and under are $10 per day. Guests may purchase tickets online in advance, or at the windows on arrival.

Guests can ski free this weekend at Gore and Whiteface with the purchase of next year’s 2022/23 season pass. ORDA’s SKI3 Season Pass includes Gore, Belleayre, and Whiteface.  Season passes are also available at Mt Van Hoevenberg.
