Tickets on Sale as Clarkson, St. Lawrence, UMass Lowell and Alaska Fairbanks Battle for Title

The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority) announces that tickets are on sale for the third annual Adirondack Winter Invitational, presented by Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort. The Division I men’s hockey tournament will take place Thanksgiving weekend – Friday, November 28 and Saturday, November 29 – in the Olympic Center’s 1980 Herb Brooks Arena.

University of Massachusetts Lowell returns as the defending Adirondack Winter Invitational champion while North Country stalwarts Clarkson University and St. Lawrence University look to keep the trophy in local hands. University of Alaska Fairbanks is making its first appearance in the tournament. Clarkson and St. Lawrence are members of the ECAC Hockey conference, which hosts its championship tournament in Lake Placid annually. UMass Lowell competes in the Hockey East conference while Alaska Fairbanks is an Independent NCAA team.
