The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority) has published its 2025-2026 Annual Report, highlighting another year of growth in visitation, economic impact, athlete development, capital investment, and year-round recreation across its venues in the Adirondacks and Catskills.

The report outlines the Olympic Authority’s continued commitment to creating economic and social benefit by operating world-class venues that support recreation, athletic development, tourism, and community engagement while emphasizing environmental stewardship, fiscal responsibility, and exceptional guest experiences for people of all ages and abilities.

The report highlights a year marked by record visitation and revenue, expanded year-round programming, significant capital improvements, global sporting events, and continued investment in New York’s Olympic legacy.

    • Record operational revenue of $77.5 million.
    • More than 1.24 million visits across Olympic Authority venues, including 764,453 alpine skier visits, a 10 percent increase over the previous year.
    • More than 164,000 athlete training and competition days, supporting year-round athlete development, national governing bodies, and international competition.
    • Recognition of 20 athletes from the Lake Placid region who competed at the 2026 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games.
    • More than 25 major sporting events, including five World Cup competitions involving athletes from 60 countries.
    • The 2025 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, which generated an estimated $10.7 million in regional economic impact.
    • Community programming that included 198 programs, partnerships with more than 70 schools, and participation by more than 128,000 youth.
