Events:

Olympic Day, Monday, June 23, 2025, 12 – 4 pm, Empire Room, Olympic Center

Olympic Day is a global celebration commemorating Baron Pierre de Coubertin’s founding of the International Olympic Committee on June 23, 1894. Based on the pillars of “Move, learn, discover—Together for a better world,” the National Olympic Committees deploy sports, cultural, and educational activities aimed at everybody, regardless of age, gender, social background, or sporting ability.

Friendship Bracelet Making: Join for a fun and meaningful Olympic Day craft activity that blends sport with culture and education to teach visitors about the three Olympic values: Excellence, Respect, and Friendship. Make an Olympic-inspired friendship bracelet while learning ways you can contribute to building a peaceful and better world, starting in your community.

Sensory Friendly Hour, July 12, 8:30-9:30 am: this program allows individuals with sensory processing challenges and their families to visit the Museum before opening. During Sensory-Friendly Hour, some of the exhibits that may be loud or bright will be turned down or off. This will create a quieter and more relaxed environment for visitors who are sensitive to sensory stimuli. Sensory Bags with noise-canceling headphones, a fidget toy, and a museum sensory map will be available to help everyone learn and feel welcome during their visit.

Admission to the Museum is $15 for adults, $12 for military, youth (7-19), students, and seniors (65+), and free for children 6 and under. All programs and event participation is included in the price of admission.
