Ski and Ride for Free for the Rest of This Season – Best Value Before Prices Increase April 30
SKI3 Snowmaking Terrain 100% Open at all SKI3 Mountains
The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (Olympic Authority) announces that 2025/26 season passes for all three New York State ski mountains launched today, Wednesday, March 5. This includes the SKI3 Season Pass, which provides access to Gore Mountain, Belleayre Mountain, and Whiteface Mountain, offering an unmatched skiing and riding experience across all three premier alpine destinations. With the Ski3 pass, passholders can explore more than 7,300 vertical feet of terrain across eight peaks, 882 acres, 32 glades, and over 250 alpine trails spanning three distinct regions of the state.
Skiers and riders can get the best pricing available by purchasing their passes any time from now through April 30. Prices increase starting May 1. As an added benefit, those who purchase a 2025/26 season pass will enjoy free skiing for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. Returning passholders and Frequent Skier Cardholders looking to upgrade will also have access to even more year-round benefits than ever before, including free rentals, rides, free admission to events, and a Season Pass Appreciation Day to kick off the season next November.
Nationally Recognized Ski Destinations
The 2024/25 season has been outstanding, beginning with one of the earliest opening days in recent memory on November 15, with hopes of extending deep into April, dependent on conditions. The Olympic Authority’s SKI3 mountains have thrived with consistently cold temperatures and abundant natural snowfall, creating ideal conditions for skiers and riders all winter.
This season, the SKI3 mountains have earned widespread recognition:
Whiteface Mountain offers 3,430’ of skiing… the greatest vertical east of the Rockies, which includes easy and fun learning terrain at Bear Den Learning Center. Whiteface was named one of the 15 Best Ski Resorts in the U.S. by Travel & Leisure, one of the 12 Best Ski Resorts in the U.S. by the US News & World Report, one of the Best Spring Skiing Destinations in North America by On Snow Magazine, and No. 3 of the 10 Best Uncrowded Ski in the U.S by Powder.
Gore Mountain was ranked No. 8 in the Top 20 Ski Resorts in the East by SKI Magazine, recognizing its expansive terrain, snowmaking capabilities, and welcoming atmosphere. Gore Mountain also earned the No. 1 spot as the Most Affordable U.S. Ski Resort in HomeToGo’s 2024/25 Ski Season Report, making it the best value for skiers and riders looking for top-tier experiences without the high price tag.
Belleayre Mountain is celebrating its 75th anniversary. This year, it was named New York’s Best Ski Resort for a premier family-friendly getaway and was featured in the New York Times article “6 Mountains Where You Can Ski for Less.” One of the most significant transformations underway is the ongoing renovation of the Discovery Lodge. Once completed for the 2025/26 season, it will offer guests even more comfort and convenience.
100% Season Pass Assurance
Because life sometimes brings what cannot be anticipated, both season pass options come with a 100% Pass Assurance policy, giving passholders confidence in their purchase knowing that for any reason, they may request a full purchase credit for their 2025/26 season pass with a request made by Nov. 14, 2025.
Passholder Perks
Beyond state-of-the-art snowmaking and top-tier amenities at Gore Mountain, Belleayre Mountain, and Whiteface Mountain, SKI3 passholders enjoy a variety of exclusive perks. These include access to Olympic Authority events added throughout the year and traditional benefits such as discounts on food, beverages, and retail, special pricing on select venue attractions, and two free buddy passes this year and one + 50% off (for next year.)
