Jessica Miller smiling outside in her ski patrol gear with a small boy by her side and a snowy ski slope in the background. Gore ski patroller Jessica Miller completed the National Ski Patrol’s Certified program on March 18 in a comprehensive exam at Killington. Certified is extremely challenging, and Jessie is the first Gore patroller to successfully complete the program – which includes modules in skiing, toboggan handling, first aid, lift evacuation, low angle rescue, avalanche, and outdoor risk management. Certified candidates have a three-year time frame to complete all modules, and Jessie had the additional distinction of completing them all in a single year.  Congratulate Jessie when you see her on the mountain!
