The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) announces the schedule of indoor and outdoor activities through January 1, 2023, all designed to provide guests and the community with an abundance of activities and attractions for a unique holiday experience.
The following are the options available at Mt Van Hoevenbrg, Olympic Center, Olympic Jumping Complex, and Whiteface – collectively referred to as Lake Placid Legacy Sites. Please check for updates in advance of arrival:
Mt Van Hoevenberg
Cross Country Skiing
Open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (Mountain Pass Lodge opens at 11:00 am on Christmas Day). Adult (20-64) day pass $32 | Teen (13-19)/Sr (65-69) $28 | Jr (7-12)/70+ $24 | 6 & under $5.
Bobsled Experience
December 26 through 31 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, $125 per person, 2-person sled.
Skeleton Experience
December 27 through 31 | 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm, $70 per person.
Indoor Climbing Center
December 20 through 25 and December 27 through January 1 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Dining and Retail
81-18 Café, Henry’s Tavern, SWIX concept store, and Mountain Pass Mercantile are open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Stick N’ Puck in the 1932 Jack Shea Arena
Required equipment: own helmet, stick, skates, gloves, and puck. Open December 26, 28, 29, and 30 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. All sessions and all ages are $20.
Lake Placid Olympic Museum
The new Lake Placid Olympic Museum offers an immersive learning experience that’s as inspiring as it is informative, complete with state-of-the-art interactive displays, rare and treasured artifacts, and never-before-seen film footage. Open December 24 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm | December 26 through January 1 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Adults (20+) $15 | Youth (7-19) $12 | 6 & under are free.
Dining
On the second floor of the new Miracle Plaza, Roamers Café is open December 26 – 30: Grill 11:00 am – 9:00 pm, Bar 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm, December 31: Grill/Bar 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm, and January 1: Grill/Bar 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Retail
The new Miracle Moments store will be open December 22, 23, 31, and January 1 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm | December 24 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm | December 26 through 30 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Skyride Experience

The Intervales Lodge shop is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm | Closed Christmas Day.

Skiing and Riding
Open daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm | Holiday period lift tickets must be purchased in advance.
Cloudsplitter Gondola Ride
Non-skiers can ride in comfort to the top of Little Whiteface to take in views across the High Peaks wilderness. Open daily from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Dining
The Base Lodge offers multiple dining options, including the Taste NY Café, Legends, the Base Camp Market, and the Cloudspin Bar and Grill. Cloudspin Bar and Grill is open from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm. Legacy Lodge has two dining options, Legacy Market upstairs and Al Forno Sicilian Pizza downstairs. The Bear Den Learning Center also serves breakfast, sandwiches, pizza, and more at its Black Bear Market and houses Growler’s Grill featuring a hearty and flavorful menu of offerings, including a variety of starters and shareables. Black Bear Market open daily from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm | Growlers’ Grill open from daily 11:00 am to 4:30 pm.

The Brookside Apparel shop in the Base Lodge and the Flying Squirrel Apparel store in the Bear Den Learning Center are open daily from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
